Coupons/Discounts for Niagara Falls Food and Activities

We are going to Niagara Falls the day after Thanksgiving. Any ideas on restaurant coupons or activity coupons.

We went the week of 4th of July and stayed on the Canada side. Your hotel should have lots and lots of brochures with coupons for what you are looking for. We stayed at Days Inn right on the river and there was tons in the office and in our room as well. Have fun. My 8 year old daughter wants us to go back again.

There is alot of stuff you can get from the hotel lobbies there. All of those are on the Canadian side and so make sure you have everyone in the parties ID's, birth certificates etc. It is not as easy to go over anymore. There is alot of stuff you can get from the hotel lobbies there. We live about 1 hour from there and go alot but this last trip in July they almost didn't let us over as we didn't have a picture ID for our 4 yo and didn't have a family photo on hand. Thank goodness he could talk and answer thei questions and they did finally let us go. We walked over though so maybe it is different if you drive over.

We went July 4th weekend and had no problems at all. We did have birth certificates for all of us and picture ids for the adults. They didn`t really ask us much more then what we were there for and sent us on our way. Now on the way back out of Canada the lady made us roll the windows down so she could talk to the kids and asked them questions about the answers we gave to her questions. Is it January that you can no longer cross the border without a passport?

From what I understand it is Jan then you will need a passport. Maybe it depends who you get when you cross.

To cross the border by car, you do not need a passport until sometime in 2009. Maybe. They are trying to work something out that you don't have to have a passport to drive across the border.

 

The restaurant spots you mentioned that you are looking for coupons for are so popular, it is rare to find a coupon for them. The only coupons I've seen is for a free item if you purchase something in the gift shop.

 

You'll see tons of coupon books when you get there and I think you'll find a Ripleys coupon.

 

BTW - they have a great light display for the holidays.
