4tiaras1crown Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Is there anywhere you can purchase gift cards at a discount. I need quite a few, but would like to get them under face value. Not sure if that is possible unless I bid on eBay, but that makes me nervous.
Aaron Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 How many are you looking to buy and do they need to be from the same place or do you want them from many different places. Let me know, I'd be glad to help.
4tiaras1crown Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 I don't 1 from Barnes & Noble and 2 for an mp3 download site, but I'm not sure what is the best deal. I used to use allformp3.com until it was shut down. I hate the thought of paying .99 a download.

Xfeg Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 lowe's (or home depot) does 5% off gift cards purchased by realtors. sooo.... if you have friends or family in real estate thats an option for you. Also, several companies will give you a discount if you buy a certain amount. if theres a specific store that youre after there should be a phone number or email on their site so ask around!
nat1jen Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Do you have children involved in travel sports or school? I now order gift cards at face value, but a certain % per vendor goes back to my daughter's travel soccer account. Those discounts add up very quickly. B&BW is offering an 18% discount right now, so for every $100 worth of cards that I buy (they are in $10 and $25 denominations), I get $18 back to the soccer account. The program is called Scrip, and it is offered to all non-profit 501©(3) organizations. I am the Scrip coordinator for our soccer team. It's also great for fundraising at public schools, private schools, churches, etc. There are lots and lots of vendors to choose from. Here is a link for anyone that might be interested. http://www.glscrip.com/howscripworks/index.aspx
