shopping4my3son Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 On Nov. 2 I bought my son the ride-on race car online at TRU but now I see it in the ad for $50 less. I am just kicking myself right now. Does anyone know if I go in during the sale hours if I can get that $50 back? When I bought it online the online price was $149 and $30 for shipping. I called the store and it was $199 so it was cheaper to have it delivered. They wouldn't match the online price.
queenofshopping Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 i'm not sure what TRU's policy is with price adjustments...most places have a certain window in which you can get them, i think usually about 2 weeks...you might be better off returning the first & just re-buying
saiynee Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Do you mean the Black Friday ad, or the 2 day ad? I was wondering the same thi about Black Friday, if you buy something a week or two before ,will the adjust the price on BF.
MissPrissy Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I had the same thing happen to me. (not sure if it makes a difference, but I'm in Canada) Anyhow, I was just over the two week period and I was told that they would still do it for me because of the time of year it was. So I brought my receipts in and got a price adjustment on three items 17/18 days after I originally purchased them. :) Good Luck!
