lupajunie Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 If people say it's wrong to sell tickets when you were near the beginning (of the line) enough to get them, then how about if you BUY the item and then sell it off brand-new? I don't see anyone being able to say that's wrong so what's the big difference from earning your spot in line to sell a ticket? And IF you are saying buying the item to sell it off is wrong, then prove it. I'm not being hostile here btw, I'm just very curious as to how people would be able to argue this point. [And this would all be assuming there were no BB policies or laws against such ticket sellers.]
nirvana4all Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Selling the item is different in my mind because you have to risk your own money on the fact that someone else may not pay any markup. Risk & reward. Scalping is taking no risk, if your ticket does not earn you money you are out nothing.
Just Me Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Check the poll in this thread about reselling tickets. There is a several page conversation about it
