Bedding for a twin bed

Our son is moving from a crib to a twin bed, and we have nothing in the way of sheets, comforters, or anything else. Anyone know where I can find some decent bedding for a reasonable price?

If I don't find anything online, I'm headed to Kohl's tomorrow with my 30% off coupon, so I should be able to find decent sheets somewhere in the $10 - $15 range. Not sure on comforter prices.

I wouldnt spend a lot on the first set, as his choices/tastes are likely to change drastically in the next 2-3 yrs....I would take a special trip to Walmart or Target and let him pick out his new "big boy" bedding. He will be more likely to transition easily if he feels some ownership in the choices. Also, if you have a Marshalls , TJ Maxx, etc near you, they have some really cute quality kids bedding. Good luck! Samantha

I just got both of my boys comforters and sheets into sears yesterday they had sheets on sale for 10 and comforters for 20 so I did them both for 62 bucks. They were just plain I got a black and grey reversible comforter with red sheets for my 11 year old and a red and blue reversible comforter with blue sheets for my 6 year old

They had flannel character bedding sets on sale this week at Target for $15. I think they had Cars that would work for preschool boys. Watch their clearance sales (both in the store and online); I've picked up entire twin sets for my kids (comforters and sheets) for $15 or less.

I'd go to the Friends and Family event at Sunday this week at Sears from 6-9pm and check out their sales, too. The info about this is in the black Friday Sears discussion thread.

JCPenney's usually has solid colored comforters for $20 on sale.

Good luck at Kohls finding kid sheets. :( I've tried with my coupons and the deals still don't beat Target and Walmart.
