Will there be a good quality DVD recorder for under 100? My sister got one cheap last year and it's broken already....

Check out this one at www.circuitcity.com. It's an upconverter, which means it brings DVD movies pretty close to HD quality on your HD TV. I keep debating buying this for my house for my room. I'd like to pick up an HD TV on Black Friday for my bedroom. We have a 15 year old buzzing TV in there now LOL. It's really a good price for an upconverter IMO, esp not a cheap brand.

Panasonic Upconversion DVD Recorder $99.99

• Record to DVD

• Multi-format

• Progressive scan

• HD conversion

• Time Slip

• One-Touch Record

Thanks for the suggestion. I sent her the link. :)

I guess it's wishful thinking that the price might get lower than $100. It seems like a good machine. Hope it lasts.
