amberjobryant Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Aldi is going to have a large toy section this year and each week they will have new toys as "special purchase" items, the week of Nov 4 they have TMX Cookie Monster for 24.99, plus other name brand toys and new items each week. As I am new it will not let me post the link, but you can check out aldi dot com under special purchases and view the ads for each week.

BF in Iowa Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I like to shop at this store for the majority of my groceries (they are especially low-cost on canned foods, baking supplies and milk)...the chocolate candy they stock specially at Christmas time is delicious, too.
amberjobryant Posted November 1, 2007 Author Posted November 1, 2007 yeah it is my fav for groceries too, I was excited to see all the toys they are going to have.......
amberjobryant Posted November 1, 2007 Author Posted November 1, 2007 i buy all of my groceries there, i found a website to offers month long menus and shopping lists just for aldi and the recipies are really good and easy.
cpg117 Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Thanks, my daughter was looking for a place to help with menu planning. She usually plans a months worth at a time and trys to get most of the shopping done at one time.

amberjobryant Posted November 2, 2007 Author Posted November 2, 2007 The menus and shopping lists are at momadvice dot com under the food section, there are two menus using nothing but goceries from aldi, they both have recipies and shopping lists, I have used the fall menus and just went shopping today for the other menu, I got out of there on the fall menu for $100 (that is adding stuff for my kids lunches too) for a family of four, and today I spent $140 but I also picked up a tukey and a ham for thanksgiving, well worth a look if you ask me.
amberjobryant Posted November 5, 2007 Author Posted November 5, 2007 The week of NOV11-25 they will have Kid Tough Digital Camera for 47.77
knittingarrows Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Aldi.com actually has a menu planner as well.
amberjobryant Posted November 6, 2007 Author Posted November 6, 2007 It does but it uses ingredients that you cannot get at aldi sometimes.
