arress Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 and normally she is easy to buy for..but this year I would like something that is meaningful for her.. Her son is leaving for Iraq at the end of the month and is in the National Guard..does anyone have a suggestion?
brynnfromtheblock Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Still thinking about a good gift, but can you have him videotape some sort of Christmas message before he goes that you can play for her on Christmas morning?
mgmckny Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I was thinking of having him send back some pictures that could be framed and given on Christmas morning also.
berry1014 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 how about matching patriotic ornaments dated for her and her son.

dreamer11 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I would see if she has a digital photo of her son, maybe a favorite in his uniform and perhaps you can have a canvas made out of it?
