Two Amazon Prime trials?

I tried Amazon Prime via the month trial last summer. I then cancelled it.

 

I was just offered it again (on the same Amazon acct) when placing an order.

 

Is that typical? I thought the trial would be offered once and once used, you could only purchase the year, no more trials?

 

But I did sign up again and sure enough, free trial until November 12th.

I kind of had a feeling that they would offer it again through the holiday season, like they did last year. But, I wasn't sure that you could do it twice for the same account.

 

I do know that last year it was a very widespread trial, so maybe they are doing that again. It was around this time, maybe closer to the end of October.

I have also tried it once before and am now being offered the trial again! I'm saving it for closer to Christmas,lol. I'm trying to talk some other family members into chipping in and splitting the cost since you can add other email addresses of people who can "share" it with you. If you don't know about that go to prime memeber tools (something like that) and you can add email addresses of people who can "share" your trial!

Hmm. Well, when I was ordering something yesterday, it came up on the last page (after you put in your payment info, but before you submit order). I almost missed it but it was right above the shipping options listed.

 

I was offered it last year but never did it. Then I did it this summer and had it cancel at the end of the month. Now I am getting it again, which I thought was odd but I'll take it.
