My toys r us weekly flyer has printed cabbage patch kids toys and sets buy 2 get 3 free. My mom went to the store today and got 5 dolls reg.$8 each for $16!! {2 @ $8 each, plus 3 free} Check your fliers because they will honor it if it is printed. I am not sure if it was a misprint or not.

Awesome deal! Do you know what age range these toys are good for? My DD is in kindergarten and I am wondering if they would make good gifts for girls age 5 to 6.

It had to be a typo. If you pull up the ad on the website, it says buy 2 get 3rd free. I already recycled my Sunday paper, or I would look to see if it had the same typo.

I just got back from TRU. I intended on buying the two and getting the three free. When they rang up, only one came up free. I showed the girl the ad, and she said that it must have been a misprint. I continued to argue with her, and she brought the ad to two other employees. They finally called a manager who said that she knew about the problem. She told me that TRU had printed a retraction and showed me a notice that she had printed on her computer. I asked her where they were posted, because I did not see them in the front of the store or in the cabbage patch area. She said that it should have been posted in the cabbage patch area. I said that it wasn't, and she said that it didn't matter she wasn't giving me three free. It's funny because the cashier said while she was waiting for the manager that the customer is always right, but apparantly not at TRU.

Call their customer service number and see if they will fix it for you. I have had a similiar situation and they told the manager she had to honor the ad.

That's a great idea. I'll try giving them a call later this afternoon. I didn't end up buying any of the dolls. I probably would have stayed to fight it longer, but I had to pick up my son from preschool.

I tried to by them. The regular price of the doll here in California was $23.99. The sign they had on the dolls was the corrected price, but the add they had on the counter was the uncorrected ad. No signs about the correction. But I did not feel like arguing with them so I left.
