I am going to be buying baby furniture in the next few months and I was wondering if you knew of places that put the furniture on a good sale at certain times. It all seems soooo expensive!! Thanks for the help!

I don't know any good places for baby furniture sales but I will share with you what I did when my time came around for that special nursery. I know first off that it is a terrible expense so I decided that I was going to purchase a set, crib, night tables, dressers, etc but the bed would have to eventually be converted into a toddler, or full size so it can serve other purposes down the road instead of tossing the nursery out and purchasing new stuff for when the baby is a toddler. So I think in the long run you would have your money's worth. So I'd say purchase a good one so it can last for a very long time. Hope I helped. Good luck in your decision.

Dont know exactly how long you have but the huge Baby Sales start in Feb/Mar.

Usually in January you'll find things being clearanced out for the new lines to come in before the Baby Sale starts.

We bought our crib used out of an ad. We paid $150. We just sold it on Craigslist for $60. So you may want to check out Craigslist. We bought a small dresser and toy chest from Ikea. These are great quality, and are made of real wood and not particle board. They were a really good price. It's the LEKSVIK line. The chest of 4 drawers if $129 (found under the regular bedroom section) and the toy box is $69.99.

Dont feel like you have to be in a big hurry to get that crib...

Cuz IMO Babies are much more comfortable in a bassinet for the

first few months. So with that time, you can really do some searching

for a good markdown. (JMO) Good luck!

After many painstaking hours of looking around and price and quality comparing, my husband and I decided to purchase our baby room furniture at Burlington Caot factories Baby Depot. There prices are very affordable and the quality is right on. We purchased a crib, changing dresser and wardrobe for the price of some cribs we seen. IT take about 12 weeks to get baby furniture so be aware of that if you want your baby furniture when the baby comes home. My son would not sleep in his bassanette only 2 nights so I was very glad to have his crib ready for him. Good luck!
