I always recommend KMart clearance sales. I picked up a Winnie the Pooh travel system $129 marked down to $68. They usually run additional 30% off clearance every 4-6 weeks.

Target had a pink one last week, with the top rated Graco Snugride infant seat. Keep watching, however, don't get your mind set on NEEDING a certain pattern/fabric. Find the seat that fits your vehicle the best, and remember that babies tend to outgrow the infant seats by 6 months at most. Concentrate your effort on the convertible carseat, that, depending on the maker, can last your child up to 6 years.

Big Lots today had a stroller that was originally 99.99 down to 80.00 and I think either 30 or 40 today. (Not as good as the ones who lucked out at Kmart for $5.00 travel systems and pack and plays but you may want to check!)
