rennakay Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 I do shop kmart and big lots on Thanksgiving Day. 3 years back they handed out gift cards and my son and his family joined me, we were number 7 in line. My gift card was $1 but my son who was behind me got a $500 gift card. The past couple of years they haven't had much of what I needed so I usually just take a quick trip to just look around. I worked in food service for many years and my daughter is a nurse, we know what it is like to not be home to celebrate Holidays with family. This year, i'll hit there about 8 AM, always get my Pepsi stocked for the weekend:D , hopefully have a good deal on some CDs, and some slippers. Then Walgreens if any last minute stuff I need. They usually have a ad that is equal or better than there normally advertised BF ad.
