Question regarding game system wins

Didn't know where this post should go. If you've won a game system, Wii, Xbox, etc. how does the carrier normally ship these? Do they require a signature? Thanks for any help. (Should this be in discuss gottadeal)?

I won an xbox 360 from the transform your summer pepsi game. It was handled by Young America ( company who handles ALOT of different prize handling duties for major contests.) It was shipped UPS and I had to sign for it.

I won a Wii from the Lunchables game on 8/20. I emailed them the same night and they haven't responded as of yet. I just don't want them to leave it and someone driving down the road to steal it. Thanks!

I won a Nintendo DS from BallPark hot dogs. They sent it UPS. Signature WAS required and I had to go to the local terminal to pick it up (they only deliver during the time I work, they left a card giving me the option to go and get it at the terminal)

More than likely with the cost of that win a signature will be required, Leave a note on you door to not leave packages.

Thanks for the info! I will just leave a note. It said 6-8 weeks after verification, so I figure mid-October. This is the biggest win yet, so I wasn't sure how anything of that value would ship! Hopefully it will be here before Christmas.:)
