I got my nephew an mp3 player for $10.00 ($60) on clearance at the mall (don't remember the store) But my niece already has one I have no idea on what to get so she doesn't feel like I am making a difference. Any ideas?

They have elctronic dictionarys at walmart which are very useful for this age in there writing. You can also play games on them hangman etc. They can enter there spelling words in them and study with it. Just a suggestion.

I've looked for one that is semi decent, one buy.com and geeks.com but I didn't really see much, I am thumbs when it comes to the net, though. (You should see how many typos I have BEFORE I actually post my posts!)

If you see one, let me know

I dont know if she would feel like its too young for her or not...but I just bought my girls the Disney Micro*Pix digicams. They dont have an LCD, and hold 40 pics each. But for $20 you cant beat it. I wanted cams for my girls and have been very satisfied with the Disney electronics in the past. My girls love them, they are very basic, but they get the job done. There is also a version with an LCD & more memory for ~$50 I think.

What about a music download card for her, so she can add songs to her mp3 player. Walmart sells them in music designs and the downloads are $.88 on walmart.com
