Rocky River, Oh Target Closing-merchandise clearanced?

Does anyone know if the merchandise will be clearanced before the new store opens. The new store is only 1/2 mile down the street in Fairview Park, it is to open the last week of July. Will they move the mechandise or clearance it? Any info would be appreciated.

I had no idea that the particular store was closing. Hopefully they'll put stuff on clearance. Anyone have ideas on this?

Oh my someone close!!!!!! I heard that the seasonal items will be marked down but other itmes will be shipped to the new store.... can't wait until that whole Westgate thing is done....

I went in today and asked, they said that most merchandise would be moved, but I seem to agree that the clearance will be marked way down. While I was there, they were clearing out the seasonal section, moving everything around. I am going to keep going every few days until the new store opens and maybe even after. I am also excited about Westgate; although, we do miss our "little mall", as my kids used to call it.

When we had a Target close here and relocate, I kept waiting for them to have a big clearance sale they did not and for some reason they kept the final day the old store would be open a big secret.

Rocky River is a suburb of Cleveland in Cuyahoga County. Close to Westlake.

went to the store tonight, all clearance was an extra 30% off I did get a few good buys: boys pj's 4.50, girls skirts 4.50, beach towls $5.87, just to list a few. I will keep checking back to see when it goes 50%, the sign says that the last day this store will be open is 7/25, the new store opens on the 26th.
