No problems tonight-very friendly people on the Westside of Cleveland. We went to Kohls first-got there around 11:55, the line moved fast and they only had 1 set of doors open-did not see anyone trying to cut in line. Picked up the Tablet for my son and a few other items, stood in line for about 20 minutes. We went to the car to unload our items and went to Target where I heard they only let in 30 at a time and would not let anyone else in until those who stood in line were all in. Spoke with the police officer there (who I know) and he said it was pretty calm. There were still tv's and iPods available, although I didn't purchase any. I liked the option of staying up late rather then getting up early to shop.

The 25% off a single item, does not appear to be working on North Face. But the free shipping is.

I was in a Walmart the other day and noticed tons of toys/dolls in the sporting good section, on top of the shelves and in the cleaning section, electronics on top of the shelves. I think that these are going to be big BF sales as there were multiples of each item.

had to take my mother in law to walmart last night, looked at the halloween stuff and picked up a few accessories for next year at 75% off........THAN an announcement was made that all halloween items in the store were reduced to $.25, luckily I was just a few isles away, so I went back. I picked up costumes for my daughters for next year, regular $16-$20.00 for $.25! All in all, I got over $60.00 worth of halloween items for $6.00. There was never another announcement about this and the sign never changed. When I was ready to check out, the employee had to ask management if this was true. She was amazed and told me, "you were in the right place at the right time!" I would have to agree with her! You might want to check while you are in the store, how much the halloweeen stuff is.

I was at one of my local Target stores yesterday and walked past an endcap in the toy section filled with slip-n-slids! I think they must have found some in the back, as it is October 7th and we live in Ohio! They were marked down to 4.98, but rang up at 2.45, they were regular 10.00. Great deal, bought a few for next year and for presents.

Anyone have any ideas where I can get some paint at a discount? My daughters 1st grade teacher needs paint for art classes. She would need washable. Thanks!:)

Update: After researching several different TV's we were all set to purchase a 32 in HDTV widescreen at Sears (lowest price). However and thankfully when my husband went to buy it, he talked with someone else who was knowledeable with HDTV. We only have standard cable (14 stations) and we would need to upgrade to HDTV with our cable package or the picture would be awful and would not take up the whole screen. That would mean we would be spending about $80.00 more a month on our cable bill! So, we decided on a 27 inch Samsung Slim Fit which we got for about $400.00 at Sears. We really like it so far, very easy to set up and not as bulky as the regular TV's, so we didn't have to purchase a new stand.

We are in desperate need of a new television and have $500.00 to spend, any suggestions? I am really confused about all that is out there now and could use any help. We have 3 kids, who watch very limited television, and do not play any video games. Thanks in advance:)

We must have crossed paths: I got my daughter a 26 inch Schwinn mountain bike: regular price 230.00, I paid 80.64! YES! The sign said that the bikes were 50% off, so I am not sure how I got it for this price, but I am not complaining. There were only a few bikes left as of 11:00 yesterday, so I am sure that they are gone. The new store opens on Wednesday, we are very excited.

Does anybody have any "hints" for bidding on priceline for cars? We will need a van in St. Petersburg over Thanksgiving for 8 days, We are staying on the beach and won't need a car for much, so I don't want to spend a ton of money. Thanks:yup:

went to the store tonight, all clearance was an extra 30% off I did get a few good buys: boys pj's 4.50, girls skirts 4.50, beach towls $5.87, just to list a few. I will keep checking back to see when it goes 50%, the sign says that the last day this store will be open is 7/25, the new store opens on the 26th.

and the dollar spot is a mess.....wonder what is going on there?

I went in today and asked, they said that most merchandise would be moved, but I seem to agree that the clearance will be marked way down. While I was there, they were clearing out the seasonal section, moving everything around. I am going to keep going every few days until the new store opens and maybe even after. I am also excited about Westgate; although, we do miss our "little mall", as my kids used to call it.

I went to the store today and they said that the merchandise is going to be moved to the new store after they are open. I hope that at least the 75% off red sticker happens here, I could use a few new things. Thanks

Does anyone know if the merchandise will be clearanced before the new store opens. The new store is only 1/2 mile down the street in Fairview Park, it is to open the last week of July. Will they move the mechandise or clearance it? Any info would be appreciated.
