Car rental, site with best deals? Share your Entertainment book coupon?

We are going to Philly in Sept. I need to rent a van. Do you think the best deals are at the airport or not? What sites do you think are best for renting from? Anyone willing to share their coupon form the Entertainment book?

Do you need the actual coupon or just the code? I have a book and I don't think I am going to use any of the rental coupons.

I'm going to Denver and I found the best price on a rental car using Travelocity.com. I live near Philly and you might pay more taxes on a rental at the airport than away from the airport, but I'm not sure. I know there are Enterprise rental places spread out all over the Philly area so you might want to find out their rates at the airport vs not at the airport.

We always search the rental locations for the best price. 9 times out of 10 it's enterprise. If you have more than one location check each individual locations, sometimes they vary as much as $50 or more, depending on the location. Internet savings codes are available on the web, just search for codes. Or ebay people usually sell them too.

My most recent car rental was best deal through Hotwire.

Just like airfare, there was significant quote differences based on dates/time flexibility.

Hotwire is my recommendation as well. You don't know which company it is until it's booked. We've ended up with Dollar one year and Avis this year. We had an SUV for 6 days for $200. We were finding quotes closer to 400 before that.

WARNING: DO NOT use Avis C03___9 AWD discount code anymore. I got a

very reliable confirmation from an inside guy that this code is black

listed now. Effective immedately, all benfits associated with code are

removed(including free LDW insurance), anyone use this code will pay

maxiumum rack rate regardless of reservation or website showing rate as

well as company ID must be produced. A warning flag has been raised on

this AWD and most likely you will be questioned about where you got the

code. All in all, this code is nothing but trouble from now on.

 

I recommend people to use Hertz CDP discount. It's the best

discount and choice now.

 

Oh well, it was great while it lasted.
