tokanm Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 I am looking to find a free day pass to Sams...we use BJ's and are happy with it however there is a Sams that opened up about 45 minutes away and I have people telling me how cheap it is etc. I don't want to go in and buy a membership if I don't think it is a better deal than BJ's (which is closer and I get for free through my job).
msluchie Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 I would try their website or call the store directly.
Tracy72 Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 http://us.pampers.com/en_US/emails/samsclub_email_may/samsclub_web.html I had this in my favorites for my mom...so I guess more can use it..I don't even remember where I got it from...lol...but here you go
littlesdcen Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 there is usually one on the very back of the walmart circular
Tracy72 Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 we dont ever get any walmart papers..we are last in the mail line so we never...well..maybe 2 times a yr...ggrrrrrr...and we dont have any passes on the back.
Ragsmeow Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Just a heads up, if you don't have a Sam's Club Membership and you use the 1-day pass, they do charge a 10% surcharge, as they call it. I think I saw that printed on the 1-day pass. Just be prepared to pay a bit more.
dmmiller Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Well if its true about the 10% increase.. it might better to find someone to go in with as a guest?
scrabbler Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Unless you decide to join right there when you pay, yes there is an upcharge...10% last time I heard. It does say it on the pass in very small letters.
kselzer Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 I was in last night and they were handing out passes for friends and family one-day passes at the registers. There is a 10% surcharge, I haven't seen a pass that didn't tack on the 10%.
