Kayakmom
I have condo insurance through Safeco (my auto carrier), which covers all the content of renter's insurance (I think I have 65k replacement), $300k liability, and also provides for replacement of everything from the walls in (appliances, fixtures, flooring, etc.) and I pay $22/mo. I'm not sure if they do it, but you might want to try one of those online places like insurance.com that compares all of the prices for you. Stowasser
I am glad someone has renters insurance. I do property management and actually have a line in the agreement about getting insurance to cover loss and I don't think any of our tenants do it. kselzer
Check with State Farm about multi-line discounts. I have State Farm car and house insurance (used to have renter's) and I get a nice discount for having both. The discount shows up on my car insurance premium.
