Panda Girl
Did anyone see the new Disney Channel movie "Jump In"? It was pretty good. Well I'm trying to find and decide what kind of ropes to get my daughter. Are the cotton ropes better or or the poly ones better? I can't seem to find any "real" information on what is prefered and why. Anyone have any experience or suggestions on this?
TerryAnn
I have found the cotton ones a bit better ... only because they are a bit heavier. If the poly ones are to light they are difficult to turn. I am sure there are some that are good poly or cotton ... ask for a demo in the store. Guest koby
I think I saw the cotton ones last week in Target. They were on an end unit at the beginning of toys. They looked really nice. My kids always preferred those.

Panda Girl
I've looked at a couple of places in town like Academy and they didn't have them. I bought her a regular jump rope at Target before Christmas. I will have to check Target. Thanks There was only one thing I didn't like about the movie (and I emailed ABC and Disney to let them know) It was the raceist remark that one girl said to the other. About her routine being "to White". That could have been left out! If the shoe was on the other foot they wouldn't have dared say the alternative.
