ashemgra
http://www.webkinz.com/ My girls got these for christmas from a familiy friend. I didn't think much about them when they opened them, they are cute stuffed animals! Then came the call....how did the girls like their webkinz....and have you signed up using the code. I had no idea what she was talking about! When you purchase a webkinz there is a tag attached with a code on it. The kids sign up for their own account and it is very child friendly, easy games to earn money to furnish your room, buy more rooms, food, take your pet to the clinic etc....it is a complete online virtual pet! Well, the girls love them! I just am thankful we have 2 computers online! I end up playing too...so my younger child can get more $$! I would suggest these for kids that are able to use a computer on their own, with supervision of course! my 8 yo does well with it, the 12 yo has an entire house now LOL and she is always on checking out her pet! just a recommendation for anyone who is interested! First Lady
My brother got these for my kids last Christmas. I have 2 boys 8 & 6 and they love them!! Now, every neice and nephew has one, and also the parents have one, plus the grandparents! They are so darn addicting!! I play with mine more than my kids do, lol. Webkinz is the first and last thing I do everyday, how horrible is that!!! But seriously the best gift!! Plus they are pretty cheap, around $10 per animal. You do have to renew (aka buy a new pet and log it on) each year, but that's pretty cheap!!! So much stuff you can do with webkinz!!!

trbarginhunter
My DD got the pink poodle (her real poddle gave it to her :-) and she LOVES it. I picked it up at a local craft/scrap/bead store--they were on sale for $8.99....and I have seen them on ebay. Didn't think about Valentines Day, but will have to pick one up for her! First Lady
You can find who sells them by you, check out the website and at the bottom there is a spot you can click on to imput your zip code and city and such. Just be aware when buying for presents, make sure the child has a computer they can get internet on! Seems silly this day and age, but we were going to buy one for my sons friend and didn't. We later found out he doesn't have internet at home, so would have been a big bummer, although cute toy.

ashemgra
Go to www.webkinz.com and go down the page a little. Under the big 'picture' there are 3 buttons the one to the far left is a store locator. It brings up another page where you put in your state and a list of stores that carries them comes up! Hope that helps!
sleepigrl
Cool! My DD will love this - she has an ever-expanding menagerie of stuffed animals and loves Nintendogs, etc.
dtwdmaty
How do these compare to Neopets? www.neopets.comMy kids do both. They got Webkins for Christmas and have been enjoying them, but I still see them on Neopets. Both sites let you "talk" to your friends, etc. I'd say stick with Neopets if they're happy there (and don't know about Webkins from their friends). You can buy yourself something with the money you save :)
Guest koby
I researched this today on the website and am really impressed. The store near me said they can't keep them in stock and are expecting a new shipment tomorrow. For $10 it is a real WINNER! Can't wait to get one and try it out. My 13 yr old is excited. Me too ty to the thread starter.
