just a thought before i get out of here for christmas eve church and visiting..got my local newspaper and best buy and circuit city were the only major retailers having a sunday only sale ad. other than drug store ads for the week and compusa..that was it..no target no sears no kohls no jcpenny..seemed rather odd that they had no one day sales, not even a sale paper..kinda weird..ive never seen a newspaper without a jcpenny ad in it..lol..they usually have a sunday and a weekend one...but nothing today..makes ya kinda wonder if they said enuff was enuff on the sale stuff..lets finish this up and go home..

I got the Rite Aid circular and all christmas sets and gifts are 50% off starting today. Im heading there in a bit to check it out. Maybe I can find something to put away for next year.

Most stores had 3-DAY sales that started on friday and ends today. Check their website for the ad.

Penney's has a three day sale going on. Started Friday ends Today, Dec 24. No bonus coupons. Most stores will close by 4 p.m.

Around here, the paper on Christmas day will have ads in it, showing their after Christmas Sales. Some years, it is almost as big as the Thanksgiving paper.

Does Pennys discount the day after christmas? I have my eye on a football game they have. $100 in store, in the outlet its $29.99. If they stuff goes 75% off it will be better and no shipping charges.

I'm not sure why you didn't get one because I had the usual Target multi-page color circular in today's paper, just like I do every Sunday.

I got a Target ad, WalMart ad, and Kmart ad, but nothing major in them. The walmart ad was only 2 pages long.

Some newspapers do not print on Christmas Day-that would be the reasoning for some ads today with the majority tomorrow.

Hopefully shoppers responded in kind by not shopping as much. I waited until the last minute to shop, but the sales were not big enough to motivate me to do very much shopping. Also surprised by the lack of great day after doorbusters.
