Special cords needed to connect Plasma TV?

Santa is bringing hubby a Plasma tv, will we need to purchase cords to plug this in?

It depends on what you want to connect the plasma TV to, and what type of connections are available.

You'll probably need HDMI or component cables.

 

1) What is your video source? Cable or satellite box or OTA antenna?

 

2) How long of a cable do you need? 3, 6, 10 or 15 feet?

Thank you two for replying to my post. There are a few items we want to connect to the TV; satellite receiver, dvd/vhs player, surround sound. The approximate length will between 5-10 feet. Where would you recommend to purchase the cords?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
