katiesmommy01 Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Just bought my daughter the furreal friends cuddle chimp from Walmart today for $29.99...but I have in my memory that it was on sale somewhere else...anyone know where that was and for how much and how I go about getting the extra $ back from Walmart??? Any help here would be much appreciated! thanks!
nikkilugi Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 It is on sale at Toys R Us for $24.99 by the way.
katiesmommy01 Posted December 4, 2006 Author Posted December 4, 2006 hmm...she's already opened it all up (it was for her birthday)...no way to get that money back huh?
nikkilugi Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Well you can buy one at Toys R Us and then return it to Wal-Mart with your original receipt. It might be a little bit of work though for $5.
klastar Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 They are on sale at Target for $21.00 this week, I bought 3 this morning. Hope this helps
katiesmommy01 Posted December 4, 2006 Author Posted December 4, 2006 $21? Yes...that might be worth it to save $9 (more with the tax)...Thanks! i'm feeling a little dishonest...but i'll get over it ;-)
leefamily23 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Wait though, won't she have to go buy another one, return it, then rebuy it for the price difference?? All because the one she has is opened, and I'm assuming w/ no box. This makes no sense unless you actually need another one. Does WM price match another ad to a previous purchase w/o the item in hand based only on a receipt?
ButterBee Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 I've priced matched at Meijer's with just the ad and reciept in hand. They always do it with no problem. And YES I've done it with gifts that were opened in the last 30days. You don't necessarily need the item as much as the reciept and the PM ad. Good luck.
