As far as I have read about the differences in the a530 and the a540 is the screen size. and one is 5mp and one is 6mp. The specs are almost exact for both phones. I was really hoping for a a600 series, but my budget wouldn't allow it.. I am so excited to get this camera. I have several friends that have canon and they all love them and they take excellent pictures. I ordered before they offered the camera kit, so i am going to check and see if they will include it too. Thanks for all the posts on this forum.
