zzyzx Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Looks like the Elements 32" HDTV that Home Depot was selling on Black Friday has returned in this ad at the same price of $478. Apparently it's for in-store sale only so you would need to buy it by Sunday. Just double-checked and the sales starts at 4:00am EST on 11-26-06 and goes until 27th, Monday. The in-store items are on sale for Sunday (11-26-06) only.
lakertime Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 so to get that tv i would need to go to the store.... what time do they open?
the perk Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 This looks pretty lame. I don't think there are any of the 32" Element HDTV's left in the stores, they had 10 at my Home Depot in Shrewsbury, PA Friday morning & they were gone as soon as the opened the doors. I got 1. Nice TV. The Super Wal Mart across the street still had 5 of the 32" Symphonic HDTV's left last night, dtill at the BF price of $588 or whatever it was.
Cannon1 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Yep, HD is fooling around again. Click on one of the items; link to having to choose a store; then lets all look at that map together! Alternate approach, use the store search for Rigid 12 Gallon; lets all look at appliances together! I finally figured out though that you can't open each item in a separate window, something about evil cookies will render the gremlins in your cpu worthless. Oh yeah, at 6 am: Temporarily Unavailable Online - Check Your Local Store "We're sorry, this item is temporarily unavailable online. Please check your nearest store for availability or come back soon to place your order." Thanks HD
zzyzx Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I just got back from Home Depot this AM. The Ryobi 18v Drill/Saw combo is still selling for $49 (BF price) at the HD in Covina, CA unlike what the 2 Day ad states of $69. Plenty of teaser Ryobi laser-multitask kits for $9.99
Brad Posted November 26, 2006 Author Posted November 26, 2006 # Ryobi One + 18V Drill/Circular Saw Combo = $70 # Ryobi 12V Drill Kit with 2 Batteries, Flashlight, Case = $30 # 1300 PSI Electric Pressure Washer Combo = $60 # SKIL 12V Single Speed Drill Driver = $20 # Ryobi 10 In. Compound Miter Saw = $70
crazywig Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 that magic chef fridge was in our fri/sat ad. we picked one up yesterdayfor our newly finished basement, used a 10% coupon i got in the mail as well
rennakay Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I called 2 of my area HD's and they stated they didn't have the Rigid 12 gallon wet/dry and they sold out on BF. They had no idea there is an ad for it now on their internet web site, they said it was there early bird special I said no it's listed on your web site now as a 2 day sale. Any way looks like I won't be getting one for my DB

The in-store items are on sale for Sunday (11-26-06) only.I live in Metro Atlanta, home to the HD HQ and all the local stores were sold out of the TV by 6:30am on BF according to one local store manager. On BF the web page would on and off allow you to order the TV online, with a $31 shipping charge even though their web site said all orders over $49 had free shipping. Unfortunately I was out of town on BF and couldn't carry a 32" LCD back we me, so I had to wait until Saturday afternoon to try to find one. Bottom line is that all of the cheap 32" LCD TVs (HD, WalMart, Circuit City, Staples & Best Buy) were gone within minutes of the stores opening their doors on BF. About the best deal I could find on Sat. or Sun for a 32" LCD was $699.
Ourhouse Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 32" Element TV is no longer listed on the website. I purchased 2 no problem in my little Maine town. People were to busy at WalMart to notice the TV value. I was surprised how many people just walked by the display. I originally only wanted 1 but just before checkout, decided to get a second because only a few had been sold. This LCD and the 46" from Sam's Club are by far the best value. Everyone wants Plasma because they are cheaper but LCD has no glare from lights, sun, etc.
rdtsmith Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 This tv has the 800:1 contrast ratio too doesn't it? Notice any difference between that and a higher contrast ratio (such as 1000:1, etc)?
rebecca7675 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Just thought I would pass this on for those trying to order online. I placed an order yesterday for some of the deals and got confirmation, then late last night got a "something is wrong with your order email" And to call after 6am EST. Well I tried acalling right at 6 and the recording told me they did not open until 8. Tried at 8 and the rep told me all computers were down and they could not help me. Since the email said I had 24 hours to respond or the rest of my order would be cancelled, she then then told me that she was sorry but it would probably be cancelled. I am pretty mad since I called in the time allowed and it is THERE fault I cannot see what the problem is. They were not helpful at all. Just warning those who placed internet orders. Something is probably out of stock and doesn't say on the website but of course they could not tell me that either! Oh well!
poppy Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Most Home Depot strores do not have the T V in our area. sold out early Friday. I checked on line. most of the advertised specials are all gone.
Shonette Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 Does anyone have a coupon code to shop online?
rdtsmith Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 The only coupon code I could find online was the 10% off coupon for when you move...you could always fill out the form, but then you'd have to wait to get the coupon in the mail. If you have a Home Depot store nearby and know someone with a military ID card, they can automatically get you 10% off. All active duty ID card holders (that includes the spouses) get 10% off at Home Depot and Lowe's if you show your ID card!
