soonernstlouis
How early would I need to get to Sears to ensure I get a $10 gift certificate. I'm really not in a hurry for their sale items as I only want to PM another store's weekend item. But I wouldn't mind saving another $10 if I could still get one at 5:30 -6:
fairydustcrissy
There is no way you will get one that late, unless you are in a very small town. We usually line up for them about 4:30 am, and are at least 40 people or so back.
christmasangel
Last year I got there at 5 and didnt get out of my car until 545. They started handing out #'s to people earlier and then you redeem those for your $10 card. Got mine!
lazerith75
I live in Orlando and I usually get to Sears at 5:30 and always get a $10 card and plenty more people behind me get them too. It probably depends on how many Sears you are close to. I have 3 different ones that take about 15 minutes each to get to, just depends on which way I go. PlayWithFire75
I think like 5:30 a.m. Also you have to be 18 or older to get one. I wanted to get one like two years ago but I was too young.
computerlady
Word of Warning: If your Sears is in a mall, check for signs on the OUTSIDE entry doors, before going inside to wait. Our mall always posts one outside door as THE door for the gift cards. Every year we see people who were waiting inside the mall come running up before they open the outside doors and every year they are turned away for the card. Seems the inside gates are opened before the outside entries. If you are not in the right place you won't get the card. Cards are gone in just a matter of minutes here in PA. xaraan
This year, all black friday ads say Merchandise Pickup, right under the Gift card promo, so hopefully all stores follow that.

Steakgoddess
We were numbers 14 and 15 and we got to Sears at 3:45. By 4:15 the line was super long.
bayhaysay
We got to Sears at 4:00 am and were #'s 1 and 2 in line. When we left out at around 5:30 they were still giving them out at the door. Most people came in the front doors instead of going in the Merchandise pickup area and that's the only door they were giving them out at.
