looking for a good laptop/desktop deal that is NOT BF based

I've given up on the standing in line -- it's just simply going to be too long out there and seems like everyone is after computers or TVs this year.

 

So that having been said, I need your expert advice. I need a basic PC/laptop (prefer laptop) just for surfing the net, playing a few MSN games on it, maybe some fantasy football. Burning is okay but not needed -- our other PC burns CDs/DVDs.
