KenDog Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 For all those interested: I just recently went by my local Ace Hardware to scout some of the Black Friday Sale items. I was shocked to find out that the items that are posted for sale on friday are being sold today at the black friday price!!!!!! However, only items that do not require a mail in rebate are being sold. THis does include the $99 5gb MP3 player, the $40 mp3 dock/clock, and other items. I hope this info is useful to some people.
BCBGirl Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Seriously? I will let my brother and dad know. Thanks for the info.
Ivetico Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I'm calling all my Ace's and so far none of them are participating in the BF sale. Wuahhh!
mpauley5 Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 :) Thanks, I am heading over to my local Ace now!
nmarienelson Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Are the sale prices marked or advertised in store on the items right now? I was in this evening but the prices were still the original prices. I'm hoping someone will say that they LOOK like they are regular price but just ring up as sale price? Please let me know what you find out!
KenDog Posted November 22, 2006 Author Posted November 22, 2006 This Ace Harware was in Dover, Delaware. I was surprised to see that all of their items were already stocked on the shelves in the main entrance/ aisle. All of the items that are advertised for Black Friday were there. THe prices were for Black Friday were also posted at each shelf for the items. THe cashier advised me that the items that didn't have reabates (MP3 player, DVD player, etc.) were on sale at the Black Friday price and this was yesterday (Tuesday, November 21). All of the items that I purchased didn't have a rebate and the computer rang them up as the Black Friday price with no problems or price changes needed. Maybe this store screwed up and switched the computers over early but I know for a fact that this was the deal in the Dover, Delaware store. Let me know what kind of success you folks have.
