Looks like whoever's going to be camping out this year [in the mid-atlantic region] will have to deal with a full fledged washout. Heavy rains and high winds are expected with a strong low pressure system riding up the eastern seaboard (aka nor'easter). I wonder if this will affect the number of people willing to wait in line.

We can't get a break with Black Friday just remember last year when an arctic front passed through Thanksgiving day making it one of the coldest nights of the year.

I'm in PA, which is definitely a mid Atlantic state and they're calling for clouds, but luckily, I'm not seeing rain till Tuesday, the 28th. This was from the Weather Channel. My Weather Bug is saying mostly sunny Friday and no rain in the forecast till Monday night, the 27th.

Hopefully, Mother Nature will take it easy on us.

I wouldn't wait in line for hours if the sun was shining and it was 70 degrees!

First of all, weather.com is HORRIBLE for forecasts (check out wunderground.com for more accuracy)... Secondly, weatherbug just puts adware and spyware on your computer..

Thirdly.. it's looking better for the storm. Updates have it moving faster than expected and raining all day for Thanksgiving along the coast to about 100 miles inland. Hopefully it will pull out by Thursday night so the overnight will be dry. It will probably be raining more northeast towards Boston overnight Thursday now instead of in the mid-atlantic

I'll stick with weather.com :tired: Weather.com is much accurate.

I love Weather.com

I didn't realize weather.com was the same as weatherchannel.com, but I went to see if they said differently for my area. LOL Turns out, they are one in the same. I've never had a problem with them either and while the weatherbug may put spyware and adware on my computer, they're backing up what weather.com is reporting.

I did check wunderground.com though and it's confirming what the Weather Channel, and my Weatherbug stated.
