doompdoomp Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Looks like whoever's going to be camping out this year [in the mid-atlantic region] will have to deal with a full fledged washout. Heavy rains and high winds are expected with a strong low pressure system riding up the eastern seaboard (aka nor'easter). I wonder if this will affect the number of people willing to wait in line. We can't get a break with Black Friday just remember last year when an arctic front passed through Thanksgiving day making it one of the coldest nights of the year.
jenna8110 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I live in southeast NH and I just checked Weather.com and it said mostly sunny for Thurs. and partly sunny for Friday, nothing was said about a Nor'easter?!
Rayny Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I'm in PA, which is definitely a mid Atlantic state and they're calling for clouds, but luckily, I'm not seeing rain till Tuesday, the 28th. This was from the Weather Channel. My Weather Bug is saying mostly sunny Friday and no rain in the forecast till Monday night, the 27th. Hopefully, Mother Nature will take it easy on us.
Princess7915 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I live in Virgina Beach Va. We're going to drown over the next few days! Fortunatly, the forecast for Friday looks partly cloudy but I bet we're still very soggy!
Melissa Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I wouldn't wait in line for hours if the sun was shining and it was 70 degrees!
Marcster Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I wouldn't wait in line for hours if the sun was shining and it was 70 degrees!http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Yes/shesaidpurp.gif That's why I stick with lesser stores like OfficeMax, Office Depot and Staples.
doompdoomp Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 First of all, weather.com is HORRIBLE for forecasts (check out wunderground.com for more accuracy)... Secondly, weatherbug just puts adware and spyware on your computer.. Thirdly.. it's looking better for the storm. Updates have it moving faster than expected and raining all day for Thanksgiving along the coast to about 100 miles inland. Hopefully it will pull out by Thursday night so the overnight will be dry. It will probably be raining more northeast towards Boston overnight Thursday now instead of in the mid-atlantic
Bestbuy7 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I wouldn't wait in line for hours if the sun was shining and it was 70 degrees!Omg, that would be great weather:yup: .

cleverbffool Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I'll stick with weather.com Weather.com is much accurate.I love Weather.com
dmmiller Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 So far my weather is rainy on Thursday morning, and then partly cloudy. still gonna be in the 30's, but thats okay.. just dont want the rain. :)
Rayny Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I love Weather.comI didn't realize weather.com was the same as weatherchannel.com, but I went to see if they said differently for my area. LOL Turns out, they are one in the same. I've never had a problem with them either and while the weatherbug may put spyware and adware on my computer, they're backing up what weather.com is reporting. I did check wunderground.com though and it's confirming what the Weather Channel, and my Weatherbug stated.
dgleason Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 For this years sales/needs - No. Another year with better deals - Yes.
Tbasket Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Pensacola Fl is supposed to be nice, chilly in the morning - 40's but in the afternoon the temps are supposed to be mid 70's!
