RossMAN Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Do you have a Black Friday question or product specific questions on laptops, HDTV, etc.? Call GottaDeal.com at 415-287-3325 Before you call please read our Black Friday @ GottaDeal.com Basics forum. So far I have received over 20 phone calls from BF shoppers who saw our phone number in our news section
bigjimslade Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Wow.....This is too cool. I wish I was there helping you man the phone. You will blow the rest of the BF sites out of the water with this one! Good Luck!
elena_398 Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 What a nice thing for you to do! Hope this helps newbies or anyone with a particular question.
RossMAN Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Phone lines are open, got a question? Call :)
laffnatu Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Is it ok just to call and say hey? LOL I seen the numbers under Ross avatar in the location area. It didn't even dawn on me that it was a phone number. I thought it was GPS numbers or something of the sort. LOL
RossMAN Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Is it ok just to call and say hey? LOL Sure, I'm available right now :)
ActuaryTm Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 This is such a wonderful feature to have for those needing help. How many other Black Friday sites offer such avenues of contact for their users? I've literally just hung up with him now (after discussing a few points of interest on notebooks), and for those of you who've not spoken to Ross prior, he is EXTREMELY personable, and strives to be helpful in every manner. He is a great resource of information, and this medium of contact is ideal if you have questions that aren't as easily answered in a text based conversation. Do not hesistate to make use of this opportunity to make the most of your Black Friday experience.
T0mmy Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Hey Ross, are you going to be manning the phones on Friday is I was in a jam and needed something? I might have to save this to me cell just in case.
Gurnee Al Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Ross, you're a very special person. The world needs more people like you. BTW, are you going to be available to answer questions from people in the BF lines at 3 am on Friday morning??
Marcster Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 What are the "Match 6" numbers going to be for Friday's lottery? http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Fight%20Hit/th161ecc62.gif Seriously though.... Great service guys! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Yes/trueconfirmed.gif
raskdelvedeep Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Hey, thanks for the help. Us poor people appreciate the generosity.
conj Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Is it ok just to call and say hey? LOL Man, I was thinking that! Maybe I'll wait till after black Friday, tho... :)
missyjane Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Maybe you should post some "open for business hours" and the time zone - you poor people could receive calls at all hours. What a very generous thing for you to do ... I hope Santa is very good to you.
ActuaryTm Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Maybe you should post some "open for business hours" and the time zone - you poor people could receive calls at all hours. You all DO realize RossMAN is just a very cleverly programmed GottaDeal bot, don't you? Brad has already applied for a patent on this technological marvel. What was really surprising when was the RossMAN created his own bot wife, MrsHoneyBee. I think Brad would describe that as an "unexpected feature".

Ross is on the left and that's Brad on the right:That appears to be a Star Trek coffee mug in front of RossBOT. I find this photographic evidence completely plausible. In all seriousness, give GottaDeal a call - even just to say hello.
mrn8 Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Do you have the week off Ross? I've seen you on Skype all day, which is unusual.

savaladez Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Let's wait and see how long it takes to have Ross phone line saturated.
RossMAN Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Let's wait and see how long it takes to have Ross phone line saturated.I honestly thought I would get bombarded with calls, but I've only received 35 so far in 3 hours.
ActuaryTm Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Let's wait and see how long it takes to have Ross phone line saturated.I confess I have been tempted to call the Wal-Mart Hot Deals corporate office, let it begin to ring, call 415-287-DEAL, mute myself, and then listen in on the ensuing confusion and conversation. But this is my week to exercise self-restraint.
bigjimslade Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 It was nice talking to you RossMan. Thanks for your help and kind words.
RossMAN Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 It was nice talking to you RossMan. Thanks for your help and kind words. The feeling is mutual and I enjoyed chatting with you as well :)

RossMAN Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 I'm going to pickup my wife from work and get dinner ready, so all calls for the next hour or so will go to voicemail. I'll update this when I'm able to receive calls again :)
