sissykus Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Of course we are all shopping and eating something fast on BF but what do you eat the days following. I can only eat leftovers so much. I usually crave pizza right after turkey day.
EmConMom Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 We usually eat alot of leftover and sandwiches (turkey salad of course) also I usually make a big pot of Turkey noodle soup as well.
sissykus Posted November 17, 2006 Author Posted November 17, 2006 soup is a good idea, have'nt done that before
shopping mom Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 I cook enough that we eat leftovers for three days. I cook and shop and then I get two days to recover. (I use to rest, this year I will have to work Saturday)
Melissa Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Well, we eat the leftovers for a few days, then I'll probably make some turkey soup out of what's left. I HATE cooking!!
momof5plus1hubby Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Hot Turkey Sandwiches mmmm Cold Turkey Sandwiches or leftovers with all the fixins LOL
kselzer Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 trick question.....turkey of course!! How can you get tired of turkey? My one grandmother is having a get-together for Thanksgiving this weekend and every year she serves lasagna......lasagna for Thanksgiving!?!?! She says that everyone will be sick of turkey, I questioned this and apparently this year she did buy a turkey breast :)
elena_398 Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Turkey definately for the next day with warmed up side dishes. I make up a salad, etc. After that its back to normal
Kellylumbard Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 we usually have a ham and a turkey on thanksgiving so I try to make enough to have left overs thru at least the weekend and we alternate between ham and turkey left overs.
cleverbffool Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Leftovers, cold, hot, and the entire meal over again. sissykus i also crave pizza.
pogiporkchop Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 I'm starting the holiday feasting tomorrow so that by the end of the week there will be no leftovers! Ham soup, pirags, ham salad, sweet potato mousse, homemade scalloped potatoes with ham...
