wifeymiller
Just curious, do they open the main doors only or the garden shop doors as well?

dstamper
I do believe that they will only have the main doors open, possibly at the Super Wal-Marts they will only have the doors in the food center open because of their policy most other nights. I cannot say for sure, however. Just plan on going through the main doors at the food center.
8truths
Find a 24 hr Wally. If it's in a fairly rural area, you can go as late as 4-4:30 and be safe. Elsewhere... big ticket item spots may fill up before then.
jellybean051901
In my experience, they only open the main doors

laffnatu
There's no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to Black Friday Shopping. I've only noticed the main doors opened at my 24 hour store.

elena_398
Mines 24 hours, but only the main doors. They will eventually open the lawn and garden doors but not at first I wouldn't think
wifeymiller
thanks! I'm going to have to call the Super Walmart that is closests, it is just 30 minutes away. It seems like it might not be as bad there as our walmart here. I'm not going after anything too major, just the bike, little people set, and fisher price walker. michphilly
No question is ever stupid. I am from Philly, PA. The Wal-Mart near me is a mad house on BF. If you are going to go early! :)
mccabefamily29
Unfortunately last year they opened both the in and out doors where I went....madhouse:yup:That happened here one time and it was sooooo bad. It is always crazy there regardless.
lwise
We have done BF at walmart for the last 10 years from stores in Va. Beach, Charlotte NC and at home in Pittsburgh, PA (3 differnet locations) the best advise call your store on Thursday to find out the offical details. In charlotte they told us all closed from 3:30 till 5 to get everything out. we arrived at 4:15 to get our spot only to dicover that they didn't close the store, and people were already taking items and putting them in their carts. They just couldn't checkout until after 5am. We did get good deals but only because we came early. So we call to see how many in stock and what is that stores policy. It can change year to year and depends on the weather too.
CrayZMama80
Ours here only opens one side of the main doors. (there are 2 sets of doors there) No garden doors will be opened. If they did that, the last ppl in line would get in before everyone else. The employee's here go in there thought. It's the safest way for them not to get mobbed! Don't go though.. you will get squished! Lmao! Of course I'm just kiddin'. Just tryin' to throw in a little humor.
