Work Coats?

My oldest son has asked for a work coat for Christmas. He works outside or in drafty areas a lot. I want something warm and that will last. My DD can get 20% off at Sears and I can get 20% off at Pennys. Craftsmans coats are on sale but I was not sure how they compare to Carharts or if I should look for something else. Does anyone have a reccomendation?

You might check bargain outfitters... I buy a lot of their stuff for my DH and son.

We have been getting their catalogs and my husband said if worked outside he would definitely be shopping there. They have great stuff and their prices aren't too bad either.

Bass Pro currently has Carhartt on sale - some around $40. They'll also have some deals on them on BF, but you'll have to be in huge crowds to get in on that, unless they happen to offer some of those discounts online.

Duluth Trading's stuff is great but expensive. My son got a Dickies work coat and it is great. He wears it for his winter coat( we are in New York). You can get them at Wal-Mart I think, online, and at J.C. Penny's. I don't remember exactly which one he got, but it was around $35-50.

Carharts are great but my son prefered black to brown. Also try Tractor Supply Company. I think they have their own brand for a decent price.

carhartt is well worth the price .. i dont think much can compare..imo
