RossMAN Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 We're going to our local Radio Shack to buy this today. Great price!
Brad Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 Out of stock online - but like Ross said it should still be available in stores.
hobbes Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 grabbed one at my local store today, awesome deal for $10.
Keebelf Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Chris got this yesterday and we used a lot of the tools to get the home theater system up (the wire strippers, screw driver, level....the list goes on and on....) It was a really good deal and I think we used it enough to pay for it in just the first day LOL.
Missy Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Just checked my local Radio Shack and they are in stock there. Thanks for the great info on this deal. I will be there as soon as they open tommorrow. By the way i am a newbie here, so hello everyone.
RossMAN Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Hi Missy - Welcome to the forums, look forward to seeing you around. These sold out at your local Radio Shack. No fear, another RS has 7 of them.
Missy Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Yeah when i put in my zip code it showed all the radio shack around me and let me know which ones had them and which ones were sold out. Is there a limit on how many you can buy.
RossMAN Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Yeah I did the same thing. The local RS supposedly had two in stock but their inventory system only updates every night. So either they "misplaced" a toolkit or sold both today. Alright fess up which GottaDealer bought my toolkit? I promise to spare your life
Missy Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Im going to try tommorrow and see if i can find a few. These would make great gifts.
lauralee Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 I bought one on BF, will wrap it up for myself.
RossMAN Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Im going to try tommorrow and see if i can find a few. These would make great gifts. Great idea and you can't beat $10. I bought one on BF, will wrap it up for myself.
Missy Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 Great idea and you can't beat $10. I called one of my local RS's today and they informed they had 4 in stock but they were no longer $10. So i checked the RS ad online again and it was still active online so i called the store back and he let me have them for the $10 each. Got 3 of them today. Makes me happy. Thanks for the post on this item.
RossMAN Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 Congratulations to those of you who got in on this, price is now $19.99
jaycebee Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 If you missed out on this toolkit... meir & frank has a much better one for $10 also. If you use the bonus coupons in the sunday paper you can bring the price down even more to about $7-8 depending on which coupon you use. This kit has a lifetime warrenty, more tools and waaaay better quality. Maybe its cause I was raised by a framer (construction) but I didn't like the Radio Shack kit. Would be a good present for someone who tinkers around the house though.
jaycebee Posted December 1, 2004 Posted December 1, 2004 ooh forgot to add, in my mall this toolkit was stacked by the escalator between the men's and household department
