fletchman Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 but the trutech 19 isnt a widescreen it a 4:3 fullscreen (the box clearly states fullscreen) kinda sneaky that they put extra 2 "inches" on each side to make it look LIKE a widescreen. I bought this one this morning (the 19") at Target with no lines, no waiting. My husband carried it in and changed out the old one and Taaa-Daaa, I've got a new monitor that is bright. The old Gateway one kept getting darker and darker no matter what adjustments we made. I didn't know if I would like the widescreen, but I do! OAKside Posted November 26, 2006 Share Posted November 26, 2006 The Samsung 941BW (19" W/S 1440x900) for $165 at Buy.com and the Samsung 205BW (20" W/S 1680x1050) for $239 at TigerDirect are the two deals I really like. Great panels for the price. (Sorry, cannot post links I'm a nub. ) Congrats to all who got up and grabbed the 22" Westy at BB. Looks like an unbeatable deal for months to come, tons of inputs (no HDCP though) and PIP from what I've heard. Very nice clean design also!
