hbk409
I talked to my local best buy, they said if you purchase an item, and it goes on sale, even the door busters they will price match it. If it is a door buster then you have to get the price match done before the sale is over.
H_Hancock
Sure they'll price match stuff on Black Friday, provided you can FIND a Best Buy that has a customer service desk actually open for price matching instead of being used for a checkout counter and a laptop delivery area, as almost all Best Buys do on BF. It'd be a rare Best Buy that will do price matches during the 7 hour early sale on BF..... Of course, there is also the little detail of the fine print in the Best Buy Black Friday ad that states: "Best Buy's price match policy does not apply to items in this ad and is NOT VALID ON PRIOR PURCHASES." So, good luck getting your price matches on BF at Best Buy....probably not going to happen, no matter what anyone has told you over the phone. The manager tells me that BB sees the doorbuster prices as a gift to loyal BB customers who camp out.

Before the days when the ads were leaked weeks ahead of their "official" release, price matching probably wasn't a problem for the retailers at all. Now, though, they've most likely had to move to a policy like this because of the ads being leaked early and to partly ensure that more people will show up for the sale......and maybe to ensure decent stock levels of the non-doorbuster items. Just a thought..........

The BF ad specifically says they WILL NOT price match any of the BF sales items. I wouldnt risk taking their word over something in writing unless u were able to get a manager to give it to u in writing that they will prioce match the BF doorbuster sales items. conandrob240
This is store specific. I asked my local BB and they will NOT price adjust or price match any early bird deals or doorbusters on BF
terh
What about the items that are all day Friday and Saturday? Do you think they will price adjust on those items?
bigjimslade
What about the items that are all day Friday and Saturday? Do you think they will price adjust on those items? The best bet is to contact your local store and ask the manager. Good Luck!
terh
Good Luck is probably right. Maybe need to get manager to put it in writing, if it's the answer I like!! The Westinghouse monitor is in stock on line, however no local pick up on that item. It has already been grayed out... On line states, buy item, pick up within 7 days, if at time of pick up, you receive the current price in effect on that day. Didn't see any exceptions. H_Hancock
Since the price match disclaimer says "items in the ad" and not "items on the front page," I think the disclaimer applies to ALL the items in the entire ad. At least that's the way I read it.

I was looking at the 22 inch monitor from Westinghouse, for my son. I don't mind getting up early and getting out, but camping out,
