likewhoa Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I know some people are worried about items selling out before you get there but has anyone thought of buying the item anytime earlier in the week and just going back anytime during their sale and getting a price adjustment? They do that for their regular sales within two weeks of buying the item and last year I bought two items that I knew would be on sale on BF and just went back to customer service and got the difference between the regular price and the sale price back. It's probably what I'll do again this year to avoid the rush. And if you get a really moody employee who lies and says they can't do that you can just return the item right there and purchase it again. :) Just my little tip!

I bought 3 items that will be on sale on BF and I'll get the price difference then. Unfortunately, everything that I wanted wasn't out on the sales floor but at least I got a jump on my shopping!!
parteejen Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 a lot of times the items for bf have a special UPC on them...so you can't price match a SIMILAR item. If it states "ONE TIME ONLY" that means that means that it's only available on BF

I bought a photo album. It went down to like a $1.50. The woman would not give me the price difference so I returned it & then told her I wanted to buy it. She would not give it to me. She told me that it would have to go back out onto the floor for me to do that & it would be at least 90 minutes before it went back out there. I said ok.. I walked away and proceeded to go shopping. About 10 minutes later I see that same cust service woman. She had the photo album in her hand, walking to put it away. I waited until she put it down then I walked over & picked it up, smiled & walked to the register.. there was nothing she could do or say... it was back on the floor She really got me mad!
