eparrill78
I was wondering if anyone had anymore info or can see the scan better than me. Does it have Cranky the Crane and the sheds? I know if you don't have a Thomas fan you may not have any idea what I'm talking about. This is what my son is dying for this year. Any info would be greatly appreciated. shannon91c
I tried to look at it but I can't tell. I have 3 Thomas fans but we prefer the take a long sets, easier to store.
hnybee411
Well, I've been trying to find a decent pic of this train anywhere because a train is at the top of the list this year. It's not even on the Tomy site so I'm thinking it was something that was packaged just for Walmart to sell that day. The Ultimate set is the one with the Crane and the sheds and this one looks like a condensed version of that set to me. The ultimate set comes with 13 friends and it looks like this one comes with eight. I know that's not much help, Sorry
juanadeal
I zoomed in as best I could and I can't make out a cranky in the picture. If you have an AC Moore or a Michaels in your area that sells Thomas stuff, you can use their 40% or 50% coupons on the the pieces. I'm going tonight to get Cranky at 50% off. Much cheaper than TRU. eparrill78
Thanks for the help. I was comparing the Walmart Giant set to the TRU Ultimate set also. They seem to be very similiar minus a few trains but my son desperately wants Cranky. He has quite a few wooden trains, but he is obcessed with the motorized set. I guess I'll just have to wait for the real ad. I do have a Michaels but I thought they only carried the wooden trains. I'll have to check that out. Good deal, thanks! jdsbaby
Our Michael's only carries the wooden sets, and they have been putting that 20% off the weeks there is a coupon, so you can't use the 40 and 50% off.
