krissy72 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I like the B1G1 deals on the DS games but if Walmart does come out with a better ad I will price match there for the games.
elena_398 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I like the B1G1 deals on the DS games but if Walmart does come out with a better ad I will price match there for the games.Walmart does NOT price match on buy 1 get 1 deals or percentage off sales. Just a heads up for ya
leasey Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Not to excited about any of the BF so far:no:
elena_398 Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Im surprised no board games or more Bratz items.
dmmiller Posted November 11, 2006 Author Posted November 11, 2006 Walmart does NOT price match on buy 1 get 1 deals or percentage off sales. Just a heads up for yaAwww, Man, That stinks. Since you mentioned it.. I remember reading that somewhere else on here. Dang, well there goes that thought.
mtjoycol Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 There isn't one thing this year that I will get out of bed for. I was hoping for some Leapster deals... Kmart has them on sale this week for 49.99 cheapest I have found. Gonna get it today... Where are the deals on Bratz Ice Champions or Bratz anything. That Bratz head that is one sale was on sale last year for 9.99 I believe... Where are the Game boy deals... Geeze, just anything for the child in the age range of 7 to 11 years old. I am going to finish my shopping this weekend and sleep in!
duckbrain Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 Eh. Expected a little more...12.99 for The Little Mermaid? I will definitely be at CC for that...But I'm looking for better deals on the Bratz Style Heads...My DD wants one with the nails to paint also and the one TRU's offering is an older version...Very Boo
Care Bear Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I guess this is one place I will NOT be going on BF.

I am going to finish my shopping this weekend and sleep in!Thats exactly what I been thinking and saying. No Bratz anything except the 24"doll. Thankfully I bought the talking Cloe at TRU already for $19.99 and the Princess Cloe on Walmart.com for $9.97. Gameboy Advance games is non-existant too (any new variety as the same Pacman one is always on sale on BF). My kids are 11 and 6 and so I have decided it will be regular price or weekly sale prices that will finish off their shopping for me
delphernina Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 I can't believe I missed Scamps for $14.99. That was one of the few things my 5 yo wanted this year. How did I not see that?!?
megnsamsgrace Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 For who wanted the Cinderella GBA game, I went and did my layaway today for things to PM, Wal Mart didnt carry the Cinderella game... at least mine didnt
First Lady Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I'll be hitting TRU for the 50% legos! Does that include all legos up to the $69.99, or just the ones they show??
lancejenn Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Does anyone know if walmart will price match toys r us on bf even though my closest is about 5 hours away, or can i order those items online that day, i'm wanting the twins doll set stuff and don't want to pay the reg price of 60.00?
megnsamsgrace Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I was looking at that twin thing in the store the other night and I could have sworn it was only a TRU thing... I could be wrong but I havent seen it anywhere else...and I did all my toy shopping today at walmart
Amyz00 Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 I haven't beent too impressed by the TRU BF ad this year. It seems as if everything that my kiddos want is nowhere to be found. I also wondered where the Bratz stuff was - only one item? And where's all the Barbie stuff?
blakes_mommy Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 Conflicted....on the one hand, TRU isn't offering any "must have items" which just puts another nail in their coffin as they will drop further down the list of top toy sellers. On the other hand, what they are offering isn't likely to be out of stock, so I can just order it online and save the headaches & lost time of going to TRU on BF.I agree, considering the line that I waited in last year!! Just not really impressed with anyone this year, maybe cause my kids want all the new things that are out.
ohitsunshine Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 What about the Lego sets? It doesnt say if its off all or just the ones pictured? And the DVD player with 20 free dvds.....what is up with that? I'm guessing theres 20 really bad movies

demiris Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Three words about the ads for BF this year: lame lame LAME! I love BF, and it's the one day of the year that I don't mind marathon shopping and dealing with crowds. I was even pregnant last year. We spent the entire weekend last year shopping, and I got some amazing deals. I have not seen anything that stands out to me at all, save for a few things in the Kmart ad. I missed the 50% off legos in the TRU ad, I'll have to look over that again. It just seems like there is not even anything close to the things on my list. I am buying for two boys under 3 and my husband, plus 10 nieces and nephews, grandparents, and siblings. I really want to go shopping! However, I cannot justify spending the whole day away from family (we'll be visiting from out of town) if there aren't any deals! Has anyone gone to babies R us on BF? I wonder what kind of deals they have...
mychza Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 I'll wait to go to TRU during their 12 days of christmas deals if they do it again this year. I loved it last year. I got some great deals, even if I did have to go back to the store on my way home from work 3 days in a row.
elena_398 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I hope my Walmart has the Cinderella game (Im going to call later). I know Walmart.com carries it but not sure about in store. I would just hate to deal with TRU for one GBA game and one PS2 game (Urban Reign)
madi5 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I wonder what is the deal with the DVD player. What 20 DVD's does it come with? I cant read the fine print off the ad scan
Andrew515 Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 i was wishing for them to put some cool barbies on sale. maybe the hilary duff and haylie duff ones. but oh well, i won't be going there on BF.
ohitsunshine Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 I wonder what is the deal with the DVD player. What 20 DVD's does it come with? I cant read the fine print off the ad scanMe too

I would just hate to deal with TRU for one GBA game and one PS2 game (Urban Reign)Target carries it, I think it is $19.99. I got one with the GB SP and a Dora game from CC last week for $99.
atisikitabasket Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 If I take the TRU ad to wal-mart will they price match the 5 piece first act drum set if it is a different color at walmart?
johjstc Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 If I take the TRU ad to wal-mart will they price match the 5 piece first act drum set if it is a different color at walmart?I dont think color matters, just that it be the EXACT model.
