Here I am, all nice and warm and drinking my Dr. Pepper while my wonderful hubby is out braving the cold and wackos to do my bidding.:2bullwhip

We went up to GA yesterday at around 4 and had a great time with the family- all 4+2+2+3+4+us(4) of them (okay, so it is too early for Math!) and then got home at around 8:30. While Survivor and the beginning of CSI was on, I finalized the list and wrote everything out in visiting order for Chris to stop at and what to get and how much. Went to bed at around 10:30 with the alarm set for 5.

Patrick woke up at 2....smoke alarm went off at 3....this is the first time we have had the heater going and you could smell something burning and the s.a went off for a few beeps. and then Chris got up at around 5:10 or so.

Big Lots was first on the list to get the Fruit of the Loom shirts and the food vacuum sealer. They only had 3 shirts left so he got thos and the sealer (we can hit another BL for the rest of the shirts)

Radio Shack for the Barbie CD/Wallet case and some Speaker wire for the surround sound. They were out of Barbie so he got Spongebob and the speaker wire and a Wiggles microphone.

He is on his way to Sears right now.--He is at Sears and got me my bras and some tools (had to be nice enough to counter act one with the other!) and he is now on his way out to the Jeep to drop everything off then he is going back in to get the price adjustment for getting the stuff the other night.

Yeah. I think he is sick of me bitching about not having any!

He was the second person in line to check out- at the PAINT dept.! And the paint guy even loaned him the dolly so Chris could wheel everything out to the Jeep and then bring it back! Now he is stuck in the electronics line to get the price adjustment. LOL.

You should see him around 3pm today LOL! It's a total zoo here. I went to one store and saw 3 wrecks outside and came back home. Was just out for the thrill anyway LOL!

Hopefully he won't be out that late! He will definatley need a nap when he gets home.

We have to go out again tonight fo pictures and it is past the mall so that will be interesting. might be taking backroads instead of the freeway.

Fianlly checked out at 8! the money he saved upstairs in electronics went right back down to the stuff he had just gotten downstairs. LOL.

Not on the list but I just got 3 plastic cereal containers/dispensers!

Since being on the Grocery Game deals we have a constant supply of cereal and I have been BEGGING for some of those clear hard-plastic containers. They are EXPENSIVE! Chris just found them at Big Lots for 3.99!!!!!

(okay, how sad is it when this is the most exciting gift of the day?!)

Survived (barely) BF at CompUsa in New Orleans but what a cluster **** You would think they have never experienced a BF before. Passed by BB at 12:30am on way to CompUsa and they had ~20 people in line. Nothing else to do so went to CompUsa and sat in car until ~3am when others started arriving...just a few until ~5am when all those that tried to go to BB that late and found LONG LONG lines gave up and came to Comp. Earlie Birds were very nice people and line was very well behaved until ~ 5am when we had our first line crasher near the front of the line. Things then got a little tense until we got inside. Earlie Birders formed an "alliance" to go find items of common interest and pick up multiple quantities for a later pre-arranged rendezvous to divide loot up and then go face the ridiculous lines for check out. Untrained, unqualified cashier charged me twice for a plasma tv and wondered why I would not sign CC receipt...took manager about 15 minutes to figure out what happened as they would not show me the detailed receipt until I signed for mechandise but I would not sign when it was very obvious to me that my total was off by a large magnitude, not some insignificant amount. Got most of what I wanted but was too tired of the hassles to pursue other minor items I wanted. Did I mention their "organization" was a cluster ****???? Time for nap now as I have been up since 6am Thursday and cooked a Thanksgiving dinner yesterday before heading out. Later .......... Hope all had better experiences than I and at least got what they wanted. Rick

ps - please excuse any rambling and misspelling as I am"walking wounded" right now. Nite Nite
