ms10908 Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 From the scanned ad (not even posted on the list of specials for bf) they show a Canon Rebel 10.1 megapixel Digital SLR Camera for $899.00 for Fri. & Sat. only. Meanwhile on Best Buy's current website they are selling the camera for $899 and they are selling it as a bundle w/ a canon printer for $999...doesn't sound like a bf deal to me! Stores know they don't have to discount everything becuase many people assume incorrectly that those prices are the lowest they'll go. Obviously with a <$400 laptop, this is the case. Lawdog Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 I think there is a $115 savings and as they often do in their ads, the price shown is the "before" savings. $899 is the regular price. That would be $785 or so, about $35 less than Costco's regular price of $820, as of 11/20/06. It would then be pretty in the ballpark as a "sale" price.
