SoCalCyclist Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 "Format: AC-3, Color, Dolby, Dubbed, Special Edition, Subtitled, Widescreen, NTSC" DOH!! Can't seem to find this movie in full screen.
jediliz Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 WIdescreen is much better than FullScreen. Believe me, WIdescreen is BETTER. I won't preorder it because if I wait til the release date, I can get a good deal, plus I can earn Best Buy Reward Zone Points OR Target Reward Points w/ my Target Visa. Plus, those good prices at Amazon never seem to last very long.

shanni Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I disagree.I love widescreen, my husband hates it with a passion, and always stretches the picture to fit the screen, drives me nuts.
mrn8 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Ordered ours...and I've got to agree that widescreen is better. You lose almost 1/3 of the picture when it's cut down to letterbox.
elena_398 Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I've never seen the first one. I probably should before watching Part 2. lol
AndreaInNC Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Widescreen is only better if your TV is actually a wide screen TV .. lol
SoCalCyclist Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I suppose it would be fine if I had a huge tv, 60+ inches, but on my 35" tv and my 36yr old eyes I need to be right in front of the tv to see if it's widescreen. Plus, it just seems like such a waste to not use the top and bottom portion of the tv. Yes, I know you see more of the left and right but it doesn't do me any good if it's so small. We have the first Pirates of the Carribbean in a 2:35:1 widescreen format and I can't stand it. I have to be right in front of the tv to see what's going on.
