Blank DVD's & Hard Drive what are the best deals???

The two things I am really looking for on BF are Blank DVD's and a couple of large fast hard drives. I have poured over the forums and looked at ad scans but can't decide what may be the best buys. I don't get the Office Max ad in my area but having heard that they have a 200gig drive for $49 after rebate I am willing to drive the hour to camp out. I know there is a rebate involved but not sure of the amount. Does anyone know? Office Max also has some blank DVD's on sale does anyone know the quality of these and if there are any better deals out there. I know I can get a 160 gig HD at Sams for $80 everyday, hopefully the Office Max deal has some instant rebate in conjunction with a mail in so I will not be out $150 waiting on a rebate that may never come. Has anyone seen the ad? Can they fill me in on the details.

Thanks,

Jeff

A lot of the DVD media is cheap after rebates and most of them are generic. I would do a little research on some of the brands to decide which ones you want to get. Weigh that info with what HD you'd rather have and you can plan a strategy based on that.

BTW, i found all of those via the thread stickied to the top of the forum labeled: "Direct Links to Individual Store Lists"

EDIT: except for that WD at BB...this is a rumored deal which I believe to be true.

Thanks. :) We always get WD HD's usually, never Maxtor though (or the off brands we don't know well). :)

Staples, Compusa, Office Depot usually have maxtors drives...though going to have to wait until Thrusday to know for sure.
