tokanm Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 Jeez I was hoping to give you great info. My neighbor down the road has a llama farm and they sell them too. They are so cute espcially the babies, they sell Emus too which look like a small ostrich. Its a strange site. I am used to seeing a few cows, horses and an occasional deer but Emu's:p ? My dd was three and went through a phase where she LOVED that song I want a hippopotamus for Christmas and I couldn't imagine the disappointment after searching and searching (long before I had the internet) I found one in the most unlikely place, the pick up machine at Walmart it cost me about $5 but it was so worth it when she woke up and had her hippo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

donella Posted October 21, 2006 Author Share Posted October 21, 2006 I just need one for my 15 year old daughter for Christmas.For some reason she is stuck on llamas now.She wants llama everything.Thank God she doesn't want a real one.She doesn't want to have to go out and feed it probably.We have had cats,dogs,fish,horses and cows and quinnea pigs.I say no more live animals anyway.
