abentley
Obviously we all liked to "be prepared"..we are here!! Am I the only one who shops playfully until a certain moment(like now), and then panics about what is left..how much $$ it will take to finish, how much food I need to buy for the holidays, how many people still left to buy for blah blah blah? I am trying to not panic, waiting for the ads...but WOW it is almost here!!

elena_398
I sometimes go through that. Especially last minute before christmas. Last year after wrapping everything, I realized I bought too much for my son and not my daughter. Raced out to buy a couple more items. THEN, christmas eve, my MIL gave my daughter her gifts. She bought 1 of the items that Santa was giving her the next morning. Thank god Kmart was open as I returned it (after trying to guess which wrapped presents they were), got my money back and came home. lol.

I refuse to beg our girls for a list this year, ages 12,13,14,15 (3 step and mine is the 14 yr old) last year we asked I know 10 times...not this time only once. huseboy
Absolutely, I am having them. I have no lists. Have no idea what to get and money is tight also. I am in STRESS OUT mode and it will only get worse. Right now I am just trying to get my son through the racing season, 1 race left. Everytime I hae some money stashed something happens to his kart and there goes the money. I see things on here that are great buys but cannot go get. No happy pills so I will just have to stress. We can stress together. :)
sns128
Me too, I'm hoping that the job interview I have tomorrow works out and I get the job offer so I can stop stressing about money.
sevirj
I am just starting to stress out now, thinking of everybody that we have to buy for. My wife asked me a couple days ago what to get mom. I just froze for a second, because I couldn't think of a thing! It just snowballed from there, "what do I give this person, what about that person?" Gonna drive me crazy! It's sooooooooo close to BF. I like to be well planned out for and have money set aside. This is the one year I don't. UGH>>>>>>
Cinnamonhuskies
I need to make my list and check it twice before buying so I don't overspend. In the meantime, I'm watching deals go by. That's stressful.
rogue1230
A little panic is setting in. I have been working OT for the past 2 weeks for $$ for DH Bday and for BF. I hope the OT lasts and the firm doesn't pull it. gulp..... I want to have at east 400$ on me that $$ to spend freely, ya know?
ms_mckenna
Yes a little panic is starting to set in here. Money is not what it usually is this time of year because of the big bday/Halloween party, plus the trip. I have had to quit thinking about it. DH always says it always works out doesn't it. I keep thinking it would only take once to not work out wouldn't it? Not to mention no lists from the kids but he keeps adding stuff he wants to get them. IE the go kart they know nothing about.
