juanadeal
Staples was the only place I hit up last year and even though I was on line for an hour, it was sooo worth it. I got my Norton Anti-virus for FAR, a surge protector FAR, dirt cheap Sony CD-R's, and a few other things. I can't wait!
m13april
I went last year, and although I would not go solely for the FAR stuff (the checkout line was too long and slow), it was a great addition to the things I was planning on buying. Novac
The FAR items are great to load the cart along with a big-savings item or two.
liam2198
I guess I was one of the lucky ones. My Staples had a short line. After doing Wal-Mart and BestBuy I went to Staples. They weren't even open yet and there was only a short line. Bought myself a nice Dvd-rw for around 20 dollars. I was surprised by the good deals and short line! Definately check it out again this year!
Trish1298
I have never went anywhere but Walmart on BF. This year I think I am expanding my horizons.
juanadeal
They seem to have less freebies this yr but I'm still going in for my free McAfee
he8765
Be careful - - McAfee rebates are very difficult to obtain. They often invalidate the rebates unnecessarily and make it very difficult to fix the problem. I'm avoiding all McAfee products that have rebates. They often invalidate the rebates unnecessarily and make it very difficult to fix the problem. I'm avoiding all McAfee products that have rebates. Well that's not very good. I didn't have problems last yr with the Norton rebates but it seems I got lucky with that. The ad actually says $69.99 - $5 instant savings - $20 easy rebate - $45 easy rebate. Maybe I don't have to deal with McAfee at all. It sounds like the rebates are all through Staples.
marshalljay
Don't hold your breath - usually a part of McAfee (and Norton) rebates are competitive upgrade - I have in the past lacked the needed documentation, and therefore not received the entire advertised rebate. otoh, why buy McAfee anyway? - you can download Avast for free, and it catchs more viruses than Mac or Norton ever did. If they only have a few of each though, it might not be worth it.

he8765
There aren't many good FAR items this year at Staples, so I don't think there will be too many people going there first - - which means that I would expect that the stuff will still be available if you go later (but that's just a guess). Of course I will buy some of this stuff at Staples, but it would have been nice to have seen more. If a lot of others think the same way, we might see some late season deals before Christmas.
