Dinan Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Is Officemax going to have online sales? I'd like to pick up the 200gb wester digital harddrive. It'd be easier to get it online. If this isn't possible, what time do you suggest getting to Officemax in the morning? (his is my first Black Friday). I was thinking around 4am. How busy is Officemax usually? Any tips for getting this item? Thanks!
Dinan Posted November 22, 2004 Author Posted November 22, 2004 somebody want to give a black friday noob some help? moderators?

As a good rule of thumb I would get there a little before 4PM, this gives you a good solid 2 hours waiting in line. Hope this helps and welcome to the forums :)
accord 4 me Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 i'm curious about that 200gb hard drive also. my question tho is, is this with or without rebates?
RossMAN Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 The majority of insanely low priced BF deals are after rebate. For instance Best Buy should have a $499 laptop but purchase price is $899 - $400 rebates.
Brad Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 The 200GB hard drive says "Save $100 after rebates." I can't make out the fine print, but there looks to be 3 rebates total. If any are instant rebates I cannot tell, but at least 2 will be mail-in rebates.
accord 4 me Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 anyone ever deal with more than one rebate with them before? i doubt it would be a problem, but would still rather be safe than sorry ya know lol
biomajor Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I have on an office chair :-) They were a bit slow, but I followed the directions exactly and finally got my money back!!
samcasey Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Yeah, ditto for the $9.99 leather manager's chair. Best $9.99 I ever spent! RossMan, OMs only opne at 7, not 6. So if he gets there by 4, he's got 3 hours to kill.
Dinan Posted November 23, 2004 Author Posted November 23, 2004 hey thanks for answering guys rebates are a hassle.. is it really worth getting up that early and waiting that long to have the chance to get one? i dont know if i'm going to go now that I know its AR
dolan007 Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I would go at 3:30am alot of people are thinking about 4 am as the time to get there also you will want to look on ebay if you dont feel like waiting in line. Many ebay people will sell the items they get on BF mostly at a loss until the rebates come in to them.
