Chanukah starts this year at sunet Dec 15th and runs thru sunset Dec 23. I anyone has any questions about the holiday, what to get your Jewish friends or just want to talk about chanukah. Just post! The first thing that should be explained is that Hanukkah is a minor festival, and doesn't really deserve all the attention it gets from non-Jews. It in no way has the importance to Jews that Chr-stmas has to Chr-stians. Or at least, it shouldn't. I strongly believe those Jews who do make a big deal out of Hanukkah, instead of the weekly Shabbes or even Passover, don't know what they're missing.
